A weekend camping trip with friends, pups and bikes, who could ask for more? A campsite situated on the Umpqua river was were we rested our heads for two nights of peaceful dreaming after campfires, s'mores and a day full of riding. The Umpqua River Trail is 80 miles in length, we rode the top 40 on Saturday. The ride took us 7 hours of steady going - rocks, roots, waterfulls, and plenty exposure made for a technical but rewarding day of riding. Sunday morning, Ben and I had to head back to town, but were able to escape to the wilderness know as Green Lakes Trail for a run along the creek, to the lakes, with views of Broken Top and the Sisters.
