We voted and we won

I don’t usual talk politics, they are personal and private and too often cause tension between those that I love, but tonight, I must write about a great change that is overtaking our country. Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. At a time when our nation is in desperate need of change and strong leadership, we have spoken. Young and old, black and white, we have raised our voices together and made a statement. We will see change, we will see strength, and we will have leadership - YES WE CAN!! Only together, only united, only with a common goal, we can – and under the direction of our new president elect, Barack Obama, we will.
