Kale is one of my favorite foods. Hearty, delicious, grows well in Central Oregon, easily available in the winter months – and it is good for you!
I am ever on the hunt to find new methods of kale preparation, and when Ben brought home a bag of kale the size of a large pillow, I knew I needed to try a new trick. Baked Kale.
In just 20 minutes, a beautiful bunch of kale turned into a fun and tasty chip – amazing.

Preheat oven to 300°F.
Wash and dry the kale, cut away tough center stems and cut into 2-3 inch pieces.
Place in bowl and toss with olive oil and salt. Spread on a large baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes – until the corners turn up and kale is crisp.
That is it. Eat, enjoy, and smile.
